Jonas Rasmussen (*1992) is the conductor for Akademisk Kor Århus and Aarhus U Youth Choir. He is also a teacher of classical choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium) and a bass singer in the barbershop quartet HusAar.
In recent years, he has won numerous international awards with his choirs, including the “World Choral Championships” in Tokyo (AKÅ), “Let the Peoples Sing” in Barcelona (BarbAros), and the “European Choir Games” in Norrköping (Aarhus U).
Jonas is frequently engaged as a workshop leader in courses both in Denmark and abroad for organizations such as Kor72, KORLIV, SYNG, and Holland Harmony. For KORLIV, he has, for example, developed the “Staldtips series”: 200 videos with tips and tricks for choir directors.
Jonas is educated in choral conducting from the University of Cambridge, the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, and the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium).
